Channel Islands Kayak Center, located in the Channel Islands Harbor, now has Kayak Rentals, Kayak Lessons and Kayak Adventure Tours with 5 different kayak adventures. Special athletic ability and prior ocean kayaking experience are NOT required. The ocean kayaks used are specially designed for superior stability, unlike river kayaks which are narrow and tippy.

Cruise beautiful Channel Islands Harbor while each course of your meal is prepared and served at a different Harbor restaurant during your Progressive Dinner Party. Make your reservation and at that time customize your own itinerary and menu. |
Typical Itinerary:
(1) The night of your dinner, board the Channel Islands Harbor Water Taxi and cruise to the first restaurant of your choice. Disembark and the captain escorts you to the first restaurant to enjoy a delicious appetizer.
(2) Upon completion of your appetizer, re-board the Water Taxi and travel to the 2nd restaurant for a delicious entree.
(3) Return to the Water Taxi and cruise to the 3rd restaurant where you will enjoy coffee served with a decadent dessert.

HIKING & BIKING
A "Hiking & Bicycling" brochure is available from the Oxnard Convention & Visitors Bureau. It lists seventeen hiking trails and contains a map of nearly 35 miles of bike paths and lanes. Bicycle rentals are available at many hotels and at the Oxnard State Beach Park on most weekends. Whether you ride for pleasure, sport, exercise or transportation, biking is not only fun, economical and convenient, it's something a whole family can do together. FISHING
Sport fishing boats are available at Channel Islands Sportfishing Center Oxnard (formerly Cisco's) , (805) 382-1612, and Port Hueneme Sportfishing, (805) 488-2212. Captain Hook's Sportfishing offers open party and private party charter, 382-6233. Fishing is allowed without a license on the Port Hueneme Pier.
