Training Camp festivities begin Friday, July 25, as officials from the from the Dallas Cowboys Football Club and the City of Oxnard host a brief opening ceremony at the River Ridge Playing Fields. The ceremony starts at 1:30 p.m., followed by the first practice at 2:15 p.m. Open to the public.

Other features at the Training Camp site include the Kids Zone area and live performances by the Dallas Cowboy Cherrleaders and team mascot Rowdy. The Cowboy's On Tour trucks - merchandise and Hall of Fame trailers - will be there for the entire camp. Live radio remotes and internet broadcasts featuring players and coaches will also be featured.

PARKING
Parking at River Ridge Playing Fields is $10 per car; $20 per oversized vehicle. The parking lot will be open from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm on training days.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Northbound on 101 Frwy from Los Angeles:
Travel north from Los Angeles area on Hwy 101. Exit at Oxnard Blvd. and turn right. Make an immediate left turn on Town Center Drive. Turn left on Ventura Blvd and travel approx 1/2 mile. Entrance to the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp will be on the right side.

Southbound on 101 Frwy from Santa Barbara:
Travel south on Hwy 101 and exit at Ventura Road. At the stop light, turn right onto Wagon Wheel Road. Make an immediate left turn at Ventura Road. Dallas Cowboys Training Camp is approx 1/8 mile on right side.

GETTING HERE
Fly, take a train, or drive – Oxnard is just 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles on the coast, and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara. Oxnard is an easy 90 minute drive from Los Angeles Airport (LAX), 60 minutes from Burbank (BUR) and 40 minutes from Santa Barbara (SBA) United Express offers four flights daily through LAX to Oxnard (OXR).

You can also relax and take the train to Oxnard. Amtrak has regularly scheduled Pacific Surfliner trains to Oxnard from points south to San Diego and points north to San Luis Obispo. You will arrive at the centrally located Oxnard Transportation Center in downtown, where you can take a bus or cab to the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp. ACCOMODATIONS
